10 Step Carpet Cleaning Process

Step 1: Pre-inspection
Our technician will walk through your home with you to visually inspect all areas to be
cleaned. He will identify any potential permanent stains as well as any worn traffic lanes
and give you an evaluation of the expected results that can be achieved upon cleaning, as
well as listening to any concerns that you may have.

Step 2: Pre-Vacuum
Dry soil will be removed by thoroughly pre-vacuuming. Removing dry soil before
cleaning greatly improves the overall cleaning.

Step 3: Furniture Moving
Our regular price includes moving sofas, chairs, tables and many smaller items. Moving
beds, dressers and heavier pieces cost extra to move. The technicians can quote you this
cost. Pianos, grandfather clocks, televisions and computers are not allowed to be moved.

Step 4: Pre-spray
A preconditioning agent is applied. This solution will break down greases and oils. This
will result in a more thorough cleaning job.

Step 5: Pre-spotting
Difficult spots area pre-treated with special solutions to further increase the chance of
removal.

Step 6: Pre-grooming
A professional carpet groomer is used to work in and agitate the pre-spray to further
loosen the soil.

Step 7: Soil Extraction and Rinse
The carpet is then thoroughly rinsed using a powerful extraction cleaning system using
high heat and pressure to remove the soils without over wetting the carpet.

Step 8: Post Spotting
Any spots that still remain will be worked on again with our specialty cleaning solutions.

Step 9: Protector
A silicon protective finish will be applied and your carpet will be groomed with a
professional groomer to work the finish in and set the nap for quicker drying.

Step 10: Post Cleaning Inspection
Our technician will walk through your home with you after cleaning to make sure you are
thrilled with the job.
